Head Coach Ed Fye took the reigns of the Tiger track & field program during the 2002 summer. Previous to 2002, Fye was an assistant for 18 years. Fye graduated from Doane College, where he excelled in football and track. He was an All-American and has been inducted into the Doane Athletic Hall-of-Fame. Since being named head coach, Fye has received several honors for both indoors and outdoors. He has been named Region and GPAC Coach-of-the-Year numerous times while Doane athletes have earned 250 All-American honors and 88 Scholar-Athletes. There have been 18 individual who have NAIA National Champion beside their names for an event won at the national meet. Ed is seen most often with the high jump, pole vault, javelin, and multi-eventers. Fye has served as a NAIA national officer for track & field in recent years as well. |

| Assistant Coach David Dunnigan has been in the Tiger program for 20+ years. His experience and knowledge of the event has produced 104 All-Americans with 12 National Champions. Dave is frequently seen attending clinics while speaking on the throws and his techniques that have made him one of the top throw coaches in the nation, as his records clearly show. He is highly respected within the NAIA national coaching ranks, which is shown by the fact that Dunnigan is the only assistant coach ever to be voted on to the Games Committee by head coaches for the NAIA National Track & Field meets. Dunnigan also serves as an associate professor in physical education for Doane College. |

| Assistant Coach Brad Jenny joined the track staff in 1999. Jenny, a 1994 graduate of Doane, uses his experience as an NAIA national qualifier and years of coaching experience to develop our middle distance/distance athletes. Brad helps set up the training programs for each athlete and draws from his athletic training background to help develop each individual physically so they are prepared for conference and national meets. Brad does an excellent job of getting to know his athletes' individual needs and goals. Twenty-two All-Americans and three individual National Champions have been produced under Coach Jenny's tutelage. |

| Assistant Coach Dave Ziola joined the Doane team in 2002 after spending time at Midland Lutheran College. Coach "Z", as the athletes call him, brings a great combination of coaching and the want to compete attitude, which draws great respect from the athletes. His great ability to communicate and teach the horizontal jumps and multi-eventers has produced six individual National Champions and 24 All-Americans. Dave and his wife Sandy have a son, Ryan, who is a graduate of Doane and was a member of the Track & Field team. Before coming to Doane, Ziola was a teacher in the Arlington Public School system for 24 years. Ziola earned his bachelor's degree from Hastings College. |

| Assistant Coach Fred Beile came to Doane College in 1961 and served as an assistant track coach for 12 years before becoming the head coach in 1973. During his time as the Tiger's head coach, Beile's womens team won two team National Titles (2001, 2002) while he coached 327 All-Americans, 60 individual National Champions, and 101 All-American Scholar Athletes. Biele was named NAIA National Coach-of-the-Year six times and is a member of the NAIA & Doane Hall-of-Fame. Since his retirement in 2002, Beile continues to coach the Tigers sprints, hurdles, and relay teams while adding more All-Americans to his already lofty resume. |

| Assistant Coach Andy (Scoop) McCallister is a Doane graduate and the sports editor for the Crete News. He has helped the track & field program for many years working with the sprints and relays. He has also helped with the cross country program. A man of many talents, you find Scoop serving in various capacities at home track meets. Andy is the voice of the Tigers over the public address system and can be seen taking photos at both home and away meets. These same photos make not only the Crete News Sports section but also find the hands of the athletes. Andy has also been a great support person for the athletes. |

| Assistant Coach Ken Marvin graduated from Doane where he competed in football and track while gaining All-American status in the triple jump. Ken works extensively with Coach Ziola in the jumps. The owner of Ken's Pharmacy in Crete, Coach Marvin is also very active in promoting track & field to the youth in the Doane community. He is the head of the Saline County Spartans track & field summer program and sponsors all the awards for home meets. |

| Assistant Coach Ryan Dorshorst graduated from Doane in May 2006 and has been the pole vaults coach since Fall '06. He works in the IT department at Doane, which has been beneficial for the program to have another coach on campus. |

| Assistant Coach Christina Lark joined the Doane staff in Fall 2009. Lark graduated from Concordia University where she was a member of the track & field program and the volleyball team. She earned All-American honors in the weight throw in 2008. Outside of coaching, Lark is a personal trainer. |

Assistant Coach Jennifer Jenny joined the Tiger staff in 2006 and helps with the sprints and relay teams. A Doane graduate and alum of the track and field teams, she also helps with the Tiger conditioning program, running the Pilates that the team participates in. |

| Assistant Coach Adam Landerfield joined the Doane coaching staff in Fall 2010 after serving as a coach at Lincoln Southeast H.S. Landerfield is a Doane graduate and was a NAIA National Champion in the 110m hurdles and a three-time All-American. |

| Assistant Coach Paulvince Obuon joined the Tiger coach staff in Fall 2009 and is a graduate of Doane. He is employed by the Crete Public Schools in addition to his coaching duties as he oversees the sprints. Obuon was a National Champion for Doane in the 60m dash and earned NAIA All-American honors at both indoor and outdoor meets. |

| Assistant Coach Nick Thixton joined the Tiger coaching staff in Fall 2010. Thixton graduated from Doane in 2009. He was a four-time NAIA National qualifier and two-time GPAC Champion in the triple jump. He assists with the jumpers and works numerous Ed Fye Track & Field camps. Thixton is also an assistant for the Doane volleyball team. |

| Assistant Coach Cody Ingold joined the Doane coaching staff in Fall 2010. A 2009 Doane graduate, Ingold was a two-time NAIA All-American and a multiple time All-GPAC performer. He coached one season at Dana College prior to returning to Doane to assist with both cross country and track & field. |
