
Head Coach Barry Mosley
Under Head Coach Barry Mosley's guidance, the Tiger squad set a school record for wins in 2006 and placed six players on the all-conference list. During the record-breaking season, Mosley led Doane to a 14-10 conference record and a fifth place finish.
Mosley has coached softball and baseball at every level. Mosley's most impressive coaching stint came as head coach of Lincoln Pius X high school (2001-2004), where Mosley led the Thunderbolts to three state tournament appearances, one championship and two third place finishes.
In 2003, Mosley served as an assistant at Concordia University, handling the infielders and pitchers for the team that set a school-record for wins and qualified for the NAIA Regional tournament.
Mosley has also dedicated himself to local community efforts by organizing select baseball and softball teams for youth players. In 1993, he founded the Lincoln Sox baseball program, and in 2001, he formed one of the best select softball programs in Lincoln, the Nebraska Blue Diamonds. Mosley still works as program director for the Blue Diamonds.
During his personal time, Coach Mosley gives private instruction to baseball and softball players of all ages. He has been invited to speak at coaching clinics and softball camps and has contributed coaching articles to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association monthly newsletter.
In addition to recruiting during the summer and fall months, he frequently travels the nation as an invited coach for Triple Crown Sports, conducting instructional camps, skill development sessions and all-star games.
Mosley has been married to his wife, Joanne, for 24 years, and they have three children: Justin, Stephanie and Katie.
Assistant Coach John Weihe joined the Tiger staff at the beginning of the Mosley era. He has been an assistant coach for the Nebraska Blue Diamonds ASA select program for four years. He was also an assistant coach for the Lincoln Blazers for two years. He serves as the outfielders coach for the Tigers. He resides in Lincoln.

Assistant Coach Billy Baugh joined the Tigers' staff in 2005. Most recently, he has been head coach of the Nebraska Blue Diamonds 10 and under program. Prior to that, he was head coach of the Friend 10 and under softball program. He has also played and coached various sports including baseball and he was a JUCO All-Region baseball player. He resides in Friend.

| Assistant Coach Dominique Accetturo joined the Tiger coaching staff in Fall 2007. Accetturo previously coached in Florida. She played collegially at the University of Alabama, where she was a four-year starter as a shortstop. While there, Accetturo was national player of the week, her team qualified three times for the NCAA College World Series. After graduating, she was drafted 17th overall in the first round of the Women's Pro Fast Pitch League. |
