Doane offers 18 intercollegiate sports for both men and women. Doane holds membership in the National Association of Intercolleciate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).
Honors:
- Track and Field & Cross Country have had 63 NAIA and NCAA National Champions
- Cross Country received the National NAIA Cross Country Academic Team Championship in 1994, 95 and 2001
- Baseball and Softball combined has had 112 All-Conference Awards since 1995.
- Men's Basketball has won six conference championships.
- In 14 years, the women's basketball team has had a 20+ win season 10 times, and a 30+ win season three times.
- Volleyball achieved four Conference Champion titles.
Facilities:
- Fuhrer Field House completed a $1.6 million renovation in 1995
- The Jim Dutcher Fitness Center, a 4,000 square-foot facility, was completed in 1997
- Memorial Stadium was dedicated in 1948. Simon Field and Lauritsen Track are features of the stadium
- Simon Field, was constructed in 1929. The field is used by the college and community for numerous football and soccer games throughout the year.
