Doane won their second straight match in GPAC play, defeating Midland Lutheran College, 8-1, in men's tennis action on Wednesday. The lone loss came in a tie-breaker in doubles action.
Doane swept through singles action, with one match being close. Ross Schulenberg won at No. 1 over Evan Hoisington, 6-2, 6-4. Josh Siske defeated CJ Anderson at No. 2, 6-0, 6-4. Josh Johnson topped Luke Borst at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1.
Tony Bieck was victorious over Andrew Crow, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. Aaron Haag defeated Jeremy Larsen at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Tanner Vitko won over Brad Hall, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 6 singles.
In doubles action, Schulenberg and Siske stayed undefeated in conference play as they defeated Hoisington and Anderson, 8-0. Johnson and Bieck lost their match to Borst and Crow in a tie-breaker, 9-8 (8-6). Haag and Vitko won over Larsen and Hall, 8-1.
