The Doane women's track team put together six automatic NAIA qualifying marks and five provisional marks at the Wichita State Shocker Quad Meet on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers took on NCAA Division I teams Wichita State and Texas at Arlington as well as Butler Community College.

Deejay Silcott paced the Tigers with two automatic marks in the 60m and 200m dashes. In the 60m, she ran a time of 7.80 to place fifth. She ran a time of 25.57 in the 200m to take fifth place.

In the 400m dash, Blair Dixon hit an automatic mark, topping her previous best time by a full second. She ran a time of 58.67 and holds the top mark in the GPAC.

Viviana Arreola notched a provisional mark in the 3000m run with a time of 10:37.17 as she placed fifth.

The Doane 4x400m relay team picked up a provisional mark with a run of 4:04.66. The team consisted of Jillian Ourada, Amanda Kermoade, Amanda Woodward and Blair Dixon.

In the field events, Katie Bartels won the high jump with an automatic mark of 1.68m (5-06.00).

Whitney Collins hit a pair of automatic marks in the shot put and weight throw. She won the shot put with a throw of 13.19m (43-03.25) and place second behind an unattached throw in the weight throw with a mark of 16.05m (52-08.00).

International scoring rules applied, awarding points to the top two finishers from each team. Doane placed third in the meet with 113 points. Wichita State won the meet with 167 points and Texas at Arlington was second with 144 points.
