Doane College senior Tyler Cyboron of Ravenna, Nebraska, was honored today by ESPN the Magazine when he was named to the Second Team Academic All-District 7 list for men's basketball. The Academic All-District list is nominated and voted on by member of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). Cyboron received the honor in the College Division which consists of teams in NCAA Division II and III as well as the NAIA. He was one of two honorees from the NAIA in District 7.
Cyboron is a business administration major with an emphasis in finance and holds a 4.0 grade point average. He is averaging 7.6 points and 2.3 rebound per game while leading the team with a 47.5-percent average behind the arc.
