The Doane volleyball team saw their chances of advancing out of pool play at the NAIA National Tournament eliminated with a straight-set loss to Azusa Pacific University on Wednesday evening in Sioux City.  The Tigers will close out pool play on Thursday against Lewis-Clark State University.  Game scores were 25-23, 25-11 and 25-18 in favor of the Cougars.  Doane had defeated Azusa Pacific earlier in the year at the Red Raider Classic in straight sets.

Doane was led by Terra Andreasen as she collected 10 of the Tiger's 31 kills on the evening.  Susan Rollman and Ivie Speer added five apiece.  As a team, the Tigers were limited to a .106 attack percentage compared to the Cougar's .349 percentage.

Heather Davison dished out 15 set assists while Cassie Reicks added 13 for the Tigers.  Speer was joined by Kellie Peterson with three total blocks.  Emily Schwisow had a team-high 14 digs.

Azusa Pacific was led by Jill Baker's 15 kills.  Raechel Jones dished out 27 set assists and Robin Portela had 22 digs for the Cougars.
