The Doane men's soccer team saw their season come to an end on Saturday evening with a 4-0 setback to GPAC regular season champion Hastings College. The Broncos scored a pair of goals in each half of play to win the GPAC semifinal game.
Doane was limited to three shot attempts, two on goal. Hastings posted 13 total shots with six on goal.
AJ Dingledine put Hastings on the board in the 19th and 24th minutes of play in the first half. Aaron Mulgrue scored in the 68th minute and Ryan Robinson closed out the scoring with a goal in the 76th minute.
Chris Kavinsky finished with two saves in net for the Tigers while Cody Poteat picked up two for Hastings.
Doane closes out the season with a 10-9 overall record.
