The Omaha World Herald released their 2008 All-NAIA Nebraska Softball team today and six Tigers were named to the list, including three on the First Team. All-GPAC performers Kristin Schmidt, Stephanie Mosley and Joy Vasa received First Team honors by the Omaha World Herald while Pamela Masker, Whitney Poole and Amber Remmers were named honorable mention.
Mosley, Vasa and Masker graduated this past May. Poole and Remmers will return as seniors for the 2009 season while Schmidt will be a sophomore, giving the Tigers a solid core as they look to build on a 27-17 record during the 2008 campaign.
