The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced their 2008 Men's Golf Scholar-Athletes and three Doane College Tigers received the honor for the this year.
Tiger seniors Brandon Wehenkel and Jon Jessen were joined by junior Marcus Anderson on this year's list. Wehenkel, a native of Auburn, is a two-time honoree while Jessen, a native of Neligh, and Anderson, a native of Axtell, are on the list for the first time. To be named, a student-athlete must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 and be of junior academic status.
