Doane College Head Basketball Coach Tracee Fairbanks announced the addition of Morgan Dubas to her 2008 recruit class. Dubas, a native of Hastings, Neb., was a member of the St. Cecilia High School squad this past year. Dubas returned midway through her senior year from an injury to earn honorable mention All-Hastings Tribune honors. She averaged 9.5 points and 3.1 steals in her shortened senior campaign.
During her junior year, she received honorable mention All-State honors from the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World Herald.
Morgan is the daughter of Robert and Cathleen Dubas.
Doane College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). Doane is a four-year liberal arts college located in Crete, Nebraska, and offers 39 areas of study along with seven pre-professional programs.
