Molly Hinrichs averaged 5.8 assists this past year and earned honorable menion all-state honors |
Doane College Head Basketball Coach Tracee Fairbanks announced the addition of Molly Hinrichs to her 2008 recruit class. Hinrichs, a native of Fairfield, Neb., was a member of the Sandy Creek High School team. Hinrichs recovered from a knee injury during her junior year to lead the Cougars in scoring with 10.0 points per game while dishing out 5.8 assists per game this past season. For her efforts, she was named First Team All-Tribland by the Hastings Tribune while earning honorable mention All-State honors.
She also excels in the classroom, earning valedictorian honors at Sandy Creek H.S. Hinrichs is a member of the National Honor Society and has earned Academic All-State honors.
Molly is the daughter of Kurt Hinrichs of Hastings and Jill Hinrichs of Fairfield.
Doane College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). Doane is a four-year liberal arts college located in Crete, Nebraska, and offers 39 areas of study along with seven pre-professional programs.
