Doane College senior basketball players Dane Cruz and Kolby Hamilton were named today to the GPAC All-Conference team. Cruz earned First Team honors while Hamilton was named honorable mention.
Cruz averaged 19.6 points per game, second in the GPAC through the conference post-season tournament. Dane held the top mark in conference-only games with 20.6 points per game. He added 3.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while posting a 3.1-1.8 assist-to-turnover ratio. Cruz was fourth in the GPAC in free throw percentage (.838) and ninth in assists.
Hamilton averaged 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. He shot 52 percent from the floor while collecting 26 assists and 21 steals. Hamilton finished ninth in the GPAC in offensive rebounds with 1.89 per game.
