Doane saw Hastings jump out to a 13-1 lead and were unable to make the come-from-behind victory as they fell 75-61. The Tigers were able to close the gap to three points, 18-15, but trailed by nine at halftime. They scored the first three points of the second half to pull within six but were not able to get any closer to the Broncos.
Jackie Knievel posted a season-high 14 points to go with her nine rebounds. Hannah Helman added 13 points. Lindsay Anderson and Vanessa Munter posted nine points each, Anderson also had nine rebounds. Brittany Lurz had a team-high three assists to go with her six points and zero turnovers.
Doane was plagued by turnovers, ending the game with 25. The previous two games combined the Tigers committed only 28. Hastings took advantage, out-scoring Doane 32-4 in points off of turnovers.
