Doane/Midland Lutheran statistics
Doane used balanced scoring and a team effort to defeat Midland Lutheran College 80-67 and in the process, snap a three-game losing streak. The Tigers started slow, falling behind 11-4 to start the game. Doane rebounded and went on a 21-4 run over the next eight minutes of play to take a ten point lead, 25-15. A 10-1 run to finish out the first half allowed Doane to take a 21 point lead into halftime. Jamie Jensen hit a three-point basket at the buzzer to give the Tigers a 44-23 lead at the break.
In the second half, Midland Lutheran used an 11-3 run to close the gap to 12 points. However, the Warriors were never able to cut the lead into second digits. The Tigers were outscored 44-36 in the second half, due in part to MLC hitting 4-of-8 three-point baskets.
For the game, the Tigers were paced by Lindsay Anderson's 17 points and six rebounds. Amy Fox came off the bench to post 12 points on 6-of-6 shooting and a game-high seven rebounds. Vanessa Munter chipped in 11 points while Hannah Helman had a career-high eight assists. The Tigers had 17 assists for the game and only 13 turnovers while shooting 50 percent from the floor.
Midland Lutheran was led by Karmen Jericevic's 21 points and five assists. Allie Rippe posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Doane will host No. 2 Northwestern College on February 16 at 2:00 PM. It will be the final regular season home game for the Tigers.
