Doane scored the first basket of the game against Briar Cliff but it would be the Tigers only lead of the game as Briar Cliff won 78-53. The Chargers led 41-25 at halftime and their largest lead of the game came in the second half when they led by 29 points, 64-35.
For the game, Tyler Cyboron led the team with 12 points. Dane Cruz added nine points and three assists. Trent Schlautman and Kolby Hamilton added four rebounds each as the Tigers were out-rebounded 36-26.
Briar Cliff was led by Brett Ratcliff's 19 points. He was 7-of-7 from the floor, 3-of-3 from behind the three-point line and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Matt Geelan had a game-high seven rebounds. Kurt Webb had six assists as Ratcliff added five.
