The NAIA has announced the Scholar-Athletes for men's and women's soccer and a pair of Tigers have found their way on to the list. Senior Justin Feerhusen (Lincoln) and junior Kelly Spencer (Bellvue, Colo.) were named to their respective list. Feerhusen, an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American, will graduate in May 2008 with degrees in accounting and finance. Spencer is an elementary and special education major and is scheduled to graduate in May 2009. To be named a Scholar-Athletes, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average and be of at least junior academic standing.
