Garrett Borcher - Pawnee City High School
5'11, 205 lbs. LB. Completed a highly successful Senior season and was named 2011 Class D2 1st Team All-State QB and 2011 1st Team All-Conference Selection. Named All-Conference all 4 years of High School. Also a standout Basketball player and a 3 time State Medalist in Track and Field. Son of Terry and Suzanne Borcher
Kellen Unvert - Freeman High School
6'5 225 lbs. TE. Selected as a Class D-1 First Team All-Stater in both State Publications. 2-time All-Conference Selection, 3-time All District Selection. Also a standout Basketball Player and has been named to numerous All-Conference and All-Tournament teams in his career. Son of Mark and Sue Unvert.
Ryan Leif - Papillion Lavista High School
6'3 185 lbs. WR. 2nd Team Super State Selection by the Lincoln Journal Star. Named to Omaha World Herald All-Metro, All-District, and All-State teams. Currently shares a Class A Playoff record with 3 Touchdown Receptions in one game. Son of Barry and Deb Leif.
Lance English - Sumner-Eddyville-Miller High School
5'8, 160 lbs. RB/DB. Was recently recognized as the 2011 FCA Athlete of the Year. 1st Team All-District, 1st Team Kearney Hub Region, Honorable Mention All State. State Track Medalist and is also a standout All-Conference Basketball Player. Son of Dan and Kathy English.
Matt Koranda - Bishop Neumann High School
6'3 225 lbs. DE. Transfer from Southeast Community College. Was selected as a 2010 1st Team All-State Lineman. All-conference and All-District as a lineman for the Cavaliers. Son of Frank and Deb Koranda.
Alex Thatch - Cherokee Trail High School, Aurora,CO
6'1 190 lbs. OLB. 2-time All Conference Selection, Team Captain, State track qualifier. Son of Greg and Roni Roberson.
Jeff Aylward - Lincoln Pius X High School
5'10 165 lbs. QB. Lettered 3 years for his father and Head Coach, Tim Aylward. Also a 3 year letter winner in Soccer. Son of Tim and Gaylene Aylward.
Zach Burmood - Lincoln Southeast High School
6'2 270 lbs. DL. 3 year letter winner and starter as a Defensive Lineman for the 2011 Class A State Champion Lincoln Southeast Knights. Named All-City and Honorable Mention All-State in 2011. Son of Deanna Burmood.
Tanner Zlab - Wilber-Clatonia High School
5'10 185 lbs. RB/DB. Recently named 2011 Class C-2 All-State in the Omaha World-Herald, Lincoln Journal-Star, and Huskerland Prep Report as a Senior. Also was named First Team All-state as a Junior. Was selected as an NSAA Believer and Achiever and Academic All-State. A standout athlete in multiple sports - including a State Track Medalist and Honorable Mention All-state Basketball. Son of Donna and the late Scott Zlab.
Andy Tatum - Lincoln North Star
6'1 180 lbs. DB/LB. All-City performer for the Navigators in 2011. Was named the teams Outstanding Defensive Player. Also a Standout Pole Vaulter and will vault for the Tigers. Son of Steve and Kim Tatum.
Alek Kirshner - Estancia High School
5'10 150 lbs. QB. Transfer from Orange Coast College. All Orange Coast league Honorable Mention. Orange Coast League Scholar Athlete of the Year. Son of Leonard and Ronda Kirshner.
Alex Lund - Sidney High School
6'1 195 lbs. LB/K. 3 Year letter winner for the Red Raiders. Son of Curtis and Cathy Lund.
Fabian Varela - Southwestern College
6'3 235 lbs. DE. Transfer Defensive Lineman from Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA. Will provide competition for the Tigers in their Defensive Line. Son of Juana Lopez.
Jeff Curtsinger - Minnesota West JC
5'11 235 lbs. LB. The Bennington, NE native was selected All-MCAC for Minnesota West both as a Freshman and Sophomore. Son of Jim and Pam Curtsinger.
