The Capital Chapter is a regional alumni chapter of Doane College. Chapters were formed to fulfill a dual role of serving alumni and the college.
Activities of the Capital Chapter include:
- Lincoln area annual alumni event
- Summer family event
- Friday Afternoon Clubs (FAC)
- Lincoln Campus Holiday Open House
The chapter raises funds to provide gift certificates for textbooks to Lincoln area students attending Doane College and also provides equipment and supplies for the Lincoln campus. Last year, the Chapter gave away $400 in textbook certificates to area students and made a contribution to the Lincoln campus for a new display.
