Candidacy Requirements
Candidates must or have held a Nebraska certificate in elementary, secondary, or middle grades education to work toward endorsements in:
In addition, the following must be completed:
- Must currently or previously have held a valid Nebraska certificate.
- Must have completed student teaching in an area of certification.
- Must have completed practicum experiences in an area of certification.
- Must have completed methods course work in an area of certification.
- Must have completed endorsement portfolio. Note: Students beginning an endorsement in the Summer 2007 must complete a mini-portfolio.
