Education may well begin at home, but it shouldn't end there. At Doane, we believe the only way to provide a well-rounded education is by giving you the opportunity to experience the world. That's why we sponsor over a dozen domestic and international travel programs each year.
When you enroll as a first-year student, Doane will provide up to $1000 for travel course expenses during your junior and senior years. Vouchers for transfer students are pro-rated by the number of semesters students will have attended Doane.
Trips are generally offered during the three-week January or May Interterm; however, some can be taken in the summer. Study tours sponsored by other colleges may also be eligible, and the funds may be applied toward expenses for semester or year-long study abroad opportunities.
The Travel Scholarship can be applied to one or two eligible trips.
The Travel Scholarship is optional, but highly encouraged.
