A psychology major consists of a wide range of theoretical and applied courses that are beneficial for students who are interested in obtaining a broad understanding of human behavior.

Campus Facilities/Technology
- Gaylord Hall, one of three Doane buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places, houses psychology faculty offices and most psychology classrooms.
- Lied Science and Mathematics Building is a $10.2 million, 60,000 square-foot building which features high-tech science labs and general purpose classrooms. Some psychology classes are held here.
- Communications Center houses faculty offices, classrooms, computer labs, the library, and art gallery. Some psychology classes are held here.
- Perry Campus Center houses food service, Tiger Inn, the Bookstore, student health office, student mail boxes, Student Leadership Offices, and Career Development Center.
Courses of Study
Psychology majors, in addition to completing Doane Plan course requirements, must complete 35 credit hours in psychology. Some courses offered in the psychology major include:
