Student Groups in Biology
While there are a lot of groups on campus for students to get involved in, there are also several biology related groups. Some are:
Biomedical Research Journal Club. This journal club reviews research that has biomedical applications. It is open to all interested students and faculty. (Dr. Marley, Sponsor)
Roots and Shoots. Roots and Shoots is a conservation club started by Jane Goodall. It is open to all interested students and faculty. (Dr. Elder, Sponsor) Tri-Beta. Doane has a chapter of Tri-Beta, the national honor society for biology majors. To be eligible, students must be biology majors and must meet GPA requirements. (Dr. Marley, Sponsor)
