The Doane Music Program is an outstanding and extensive program comprised of three major performance areas.
- The Doane choral program features four ensembles:
- Collegiate Chorale is an outstanding university choir open to all students, and performs several concerts a year.
- Jazz Unlimited, a celebrated show choir ensemble, provides an outlet for the musical theatre and show choir talent.
- DoubleWide is a student-organized male vocal ensemble that presents entertaining performances of Doo-Wop, Barbershop, and Gospel music.
- The Doane band program features four outstanding ensembles:
- Symphonic Wind Ensemble is the instrumental program's premiere ensemble, featuring 50 select musicians who tour in the United States.
- Concert Band is a university ensemble open to all students, and performs several on-campus concerts each semester.
- Tiger Pep Band is a 65-member ensemble that entertains football fans at all Doane home games.
- Doane Jazz Ensemble plays a variety of styles, including Jazz, Rock, Fusion, and Latin.
- Doane String Program
- Doane College is rebuilding its chamber orchestra program and currently offers string players the opportunity to play in the Doane String Ensemble, which performs works of Handel, Mozart, Hayden, and Beethoven.
