The Doane College Challenge Course
Success Through Teamwork!
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Likewise, a team is only as strong as its individuals. Through the Doane challenge course, individuals will learn to work in a cohesive team environment. Whether it be through our low or high course, participants will leave with a better appreciation and understanding of teamwork and leadership.
Low Course
The low course is centered around team building and goal accomplishment. This is a great tool to use when trying to build a cohesive group. Whether you are a corporate sales team or a high school athletic team, this will bring out the best of all individuals to create an environment of trust and responsibility.
High Course
The high course takes place 30 feet above the ground. The high course is more about the individual experience and is a powerful tool that will help stimulate personal growth and strengthen self confidence. There are five elements to our high course. These include a catwalk, a burma bridge, a multi-line bridge, a two-line bridge, and a zip-line. As you traverse the course you will be safely harnessed with a two-person rope safety system.
Cost and Availability
The cost of the challenge course is $15/person for non-profit groups and $20/person for for-profit groups. The course is available during the summer beginning in late May and runs until mid-August. During the academic year, the challenge course is only available until mid-October and only on certain weekends.
