Athletic Extracurricular Scholarship Information

Doane College offers special ability scholarships in the field of athletics to full-time students. These scholarships are included in the total financial aid package as required to comply with institutional policies, federal regulations, the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) regulations, and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) regulations. In order to participate in intercollegiate athletics at Doane College, first-time students must meet two of the following three requirements based on final high school transcripts.

  1. Rank in the top half of your graduating class
  2. Achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on 4.0 scale
  3. Achieve a minimum composite score of 18 on the ACT or 860 (combined) on the SAT

Students who do not meet two of the three requirements are not eligible to compete in intercollegiate athletics for the first two semesters at Doane College or any other NAIA institution. Eligibility requirements for transfer students differ. Please contact your Admission counselor for details.
