FAFSA Instructions
You can complete the federal aid process electronically and save up to three weeks in processing time. Simply follow the steps in either option 1 or 2 to electronically file for your federal aid.
Option 1: File online
Get a PIN (Personal Identification Number): If you have not received a PIN from the federal government, you can request one electronically at
http://www.pin.ed.gov/. Your PIN serves as an electronic signature. If you must use parent information, your parent also needs a PIN. Your parent will follow the same process for getting their PIN.
Complete your FAFSA online: Once you have your PIN and your 2007 federal tax returns are complete, you can fine online at
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Online processing results take five days, which saves you up to three weeks in processing time. Our school code is 002544.
Option 2: Call EducationQuest for filing help (Offices are found in Lincoln, Omaha and Kearney).

If you do not participate in the federal aid application process, federal financial aid will not be available to you for the academic school year.
