FAFSA Instructions

You can complete the federal aid process electronically and save up to three weeks in processing time.  Simply follow the steps in either option 1 or 2 to electronically file for your federal aid.

Option 1:  File online

• Get a PIN (Personal Identification Number): If you have not received a PIN from the federal government, you can request one electronically at http://www.pin.ed.gov/.  Your PIN serves as an electronic signature.  If you must use parent information, your parent also needs a PIN.  Your parent will follow the same process for getting their PIN.

• Complete your FAFSA online: Once you have your PIN and your 2007 federal tax returns are complete, you can fine online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.  Online processing results take five days, which saves you up to three weeks in processing time.  Our school code is 002544.

Option 2:  Call EducationQuest for filing help (Offices are found in Lincoln, Omaha and Kearney).

• Make an appointment: Call 475.5222 to make an appointment.  Appointment times are limited so call right away!

• Visit the EducationQuest Web site: The Website lists the locations of nearby offices and contains other useful information.  http://www.educationquest.org/

If you do not participate in the federal aid application process, federal financial aid will not be available to you for the academic school year.
