Doane College

Costs & Financial Aid

Financial aid can consist of scholarships, grants, loans, and/or work programs which provide funds to assist you in paying for educational expenses. At Doane College, funds are awarded based on your student's qualifications and/or financial needs. Financial aid based on need must be reviewed each year.

Financial aid is available for degree-seeking undergraduate and Masters of Counseling and Management students enrolled at the Crete, Grand Island or Lincoln campuses.  Degree seeking students in the Masters of Education Curriculum and Instruction or the Masters of Educational Leadership program are also eligible for financial aid when enrolled at one of the following federally approved locations (click link to view).

If you wish to apply for financial aid, you should:

  1. Complete the application for admission (click here for more information as well as an online application)
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Doane's Title IV code is 002544. The application is available from your student's high school or Doane. It is to your student's advantage that the application be completed and turned into the Financial Aid Office by March 1.
  3. If awarded employment funds, complete the student employment application. This form is included with the financial aid award letter packet.
  4. If you are going to apply for federal financial aid online, please read the instructions.

Upperclass students who wish to apply for financial aid should preregister and complete steps 2 and 3 above.
