2012 Residence Hall Move-In Dates
Welcome to Campus
How exciting! We're looking forwarding to see you on move-in day, but we want you to be aware of some construction taking place in and around campus so you can be prepared for any delays.
Look for the Signs!
The Doane Safety Office will have signs placed along the roads on campus that will guide you to your residence hall and to the Perry Campus Center where you will check in.
Checking In
If you are living on campus, you must check-in at the Perry Campus Center to receive:
- your room key
- mailbox key
- orientation schedule
If you do not know your housing assignment, you may get this information in the Student Leadership Office located in the Perry Campus Center.
Check-in dates and times are listed below:
- Fall Athletes: Sunday, August 12th starting at 8:00 a.m.
(Football, Soccer, & Volleyball ONLY)
- All Other First-Year Students: Thursday, August 23th starting at 8:00 a.m.
Unloading Your Stuff
There will be designated "unloading" areas in front of each residence hall so you may have easier access for moving in. As a reminder, these spaces are limited so please be considerate of your fellow students by quickly unloading and moving your vehicles to designated parking lots.
There will be orientation leaders available to guide you to these designated lots.
Register Your Car
If you plan to have a car on campus, bring your state's Vehicle Registration slip with you. You will be issued a free parking permit sticker at this time.
Stay for Lunch
Lunch will be provided for all new students and their families beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the dining hall located in the Perry Campus Center.
