Doane College uses the Federal Stafford Master Promissory note (MPN) in serial. This means that you will complete one federal stafford loan application at Doane.
Before you begin the online application process, you will need the following information:
- You must provide the borrower's social security number.
- You must indicate a lender on the MPN. We suggest you contact your home loan bank for the appropriate lender code.
- You will need your driver's license number
- You must provide two complete references. These references cannot reside at the same address.
- You must have printing capabilities.
- You must print, sign, and mail the final results of your MPN to your lender.
- You must have Internet Explorer 4.0 or newer
- You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader
Apply Online for the Federal Stafford Loan
After you have completed the loan application, you must participate in entrance loan counseling. You may do so online at www.mapping-your-future.org. Entrance loan counseling is also a required event, as a part of orientation for new students in the fall. When completing the counseling online, be sure to complete the entire process and have your results sent to Doane.
