FAFSA Instructions

You can complete the federal aid process electronically and save up to three weeks in processing time. Simply follow the steps in either option 1 or 2 to electronically file for your federal aid.

Option 1: File online

1. Get a PIN (Personal Identification Number)
If you have not received a PIN from the federal government, you can request one electronically at http://www.pin.ed.gov/. Your PIN serves as an electronic signature. If you must use parent information, your parent also needs a PIN. Your parent will follow the same process for getting their PIN.

2. Complete your FAFSA online
Once you have your PIN and your 2007 federal tax returns are complete, you can file online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Online processing results take five days, which saves you up to three weeks in processing time. Our school code is 002544.

Option 2: Call EducationQuest for filing help

1. Make an appointment
Call 800.303.3745 to make an appointment. Appointment times are limited so call right away!

2. Visit the EducationQuest Web site
The Web site lists the locations of nearby offices and contains other useful information. http://www.educationquest.org/.

This site also includes a college cost estimator. Click on the following link and then choose College Funding Estimator: http://www.educationquest.org/calc.asp.

If you do not participate in the federal aid application process, federal financial aid will not be available to you for the academic school year.

If you have already completed your FAFSA application and wish to confirm we received it, check online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/follow003.jsp for your current status.
