The Career Development Center plays a critical role in allowing Doane College to maintain one of the highest graduate placement rates in the nation. Open to Doane students of all majors and levels as well as for alumni, the center provides a variety of professional development services designed to prepare Doane graduates for challenging, meaningful and rewarding futures. Services available to you from your very first day on campus include:

- assistance in matching majors to your career interests and professional and personal goals
- information on internships
- inside tips about new career opportunities
- assistance with resumes, cover letters, and interviewing skills
Not surprisingly, more than 98 percent of new Doane graduates are either employed in their field, or admitted to prestigious professional and graduate programs, within six months.
