Hi Everyone,
I'm really home, in Lincoln, as of last night. I'm sorting through the huge box of more than 4 months of mail. I finally found the renewal of car registration forms---much needed for the back-home errands. I need to either buy new cordless phones or replace batteries. I'm reconnected, but the phones die after a minute. I will be calling you soon and look forward to seeing many of you.
I enjoyed the week in Baltimore and New York seeing family and friends. My parents, at 86 and 88, are doing well. And my grandson Henry, now 2, is a delight. After not seeing me for 6 months, he warmed up to me in a minute, calling "g'ama do it" for every activity. I already miss him.
The sun is shining today, the temps are in the 20's, and my house looks good to me (not counting my unpacking messes). Now the work of getting back in sync (winter clothes for a start) and getting ready for the spring semester starts full steam.
Thanks for following along on our journey and sending emails.
Hope to see/talk to you soon,
Love, Betty
