Interterm As well as the required study abroad semester for German majors, students have the opportunity to travel on college-sponsored trips each year through Doane's Interterm (in January or May).

A recent trip went to Europe, where the Doane Choir performed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. The Interterm option has been very popular with both German majors and non-majors. There is a travel scholarship of up to $1000.00 that is available to all students. Which makes these trips especially accessible.
