The French bachelor's degree program at our Nebraska campuses is designed to serve a variety of goals. At Doane, we provide students who major in French with instruction in the French language, French and Francophone literature and culture, which plays an integral role in the Contemporary European Studies major. Students with knowledge of French will find career opportunities throughout the French-speaking world in business, management, marketing, development programs, education, science, and communication. A major in French is required for certification to teach the language in high school.
