The Doane College triMATHlon is a math contest in three stages: 1) Written Exam, 2) Extreme Team Challenge, and 3) Team Math Bowl. It is designed for students in grades 9 through 12. The contest includes material typically taught prior to trigonometry and calculus in Nebraska public high schools (up to and including second-year algebra).
The competition is usually held on the last Thursday of September. The Written Exam and the Team Math Bowl are taken in the Lied Science and Mathematics Building and the Extreme Team Challenge is a problem-solving event outdoors.
Other triMATHlon Information

The Individual Written Test is a 45-question, multiple-choice exam. The Math Bowl pairs three-person teams in a quick-answer quiz bowl tournament.
