Doane College's 10th cultural tour of the Czech Republic is scheduled for June 8-22, 2008. The college has been hosting trips to this gorgeous, charming country since 1992. Custom designed and led by Janet Jeffries, director of campus events and college historian. These tours feature 18 days of total Czech immersion that feature visits to cities, villages, and the countryside in Bohemia and Moravia, including several days in Prague. This tour is one of very few that allows travelers a comprehensive experience to this country that is typically just a stop on other European tours. Formal registration materials and preliminary itinerary information will be available in summer 2007. Interested travelers are urged to contact Janet soon, to add their name to the list of attendees. Doane's Czech tours fill fast and reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
