Five decades after the civil rights movement, eight students from Doane College marched the streets of Birmingham and Montgomery. The students and their professor traveled to Alabama in January 2007 for an Interterm class to research and experience the power of the movement. While in Alabama, they visited museums and monuments, interviewed people involved in the movement and shot photos and video. This Web site is a compilation of their stories, photos, slideshows, personal reflections, and a video documenting this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
