When should I pre-register for the Summer / Flex Term? Pre-registration begins at 10:00 am, Monday, April 21st and continues until formal registration.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR STUDENTS WHO EXPECT TO COMPLETE DEGREE REQUIREMENTS IN AUGUST, OCTOBER, OR DECEMBER: Early pre-registration is available starting Thursday, April 17th, for seniors who expect to complete degree requirements in August, October, or December 2008. Please email your pre-registration to lincolnprereg@doane.edu or contact your advisor. WebAdviser pre-registration is not available until April 21st.
How do I pre-register? There are four ways to pre-register for courses. - WEBADVISOR - You are encouraged to pre-register online using WebAdvisor at www.doane.edu/wa. Upon selecting your courses, please make sure you also register for the courses, and double check your student schedule for accuracy. If you encounter any problems with online pre-registration, please call your adviser or send an email to lincolnprereg@doane.edu. Students who are new to Doane for the Spring Term CAN NOT select this option.
- EMAIL - You may email your pre-registration to lincolnprereg@doane.edu. Please include in your email your complete name, ID or SS number, and your daytime phone number. When listing the course(s) please include the course number, title, day, and time to guarantee pre-registration for the correct section.
- PHONE - You may phone in your pre-registration by calling (402) 466-4774.
- ON CAMPUS - You may stop by the Doane-Lincoln offices at 303 North 52nd Street.
What is formal registration, and when does it happen? The difference between pre-registration and formal registration is the commitment of money. You are not required to pay for your class or sign a promise to pay note until formal registration. You must come to the Doane-Lincoln campus, ROOM 202 to formally register for all classes on one of these days. Dates and times for formal registration are:
Thursday, May 22nd 10:00am – 7:00pmFriday, May 23rd 10:00am – 6:00pmSaturday, May 24th 9:00am – NoonIMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CENSUS DAY - THE LAST DAY TO DROP OR ADD courses for the Summer Flex term is June 3rd. Except for certain emergency situations, if you drop your enrollment in any seminar after census day, you will forfeit tuition. After formal registration it is not possible to drop a class on-line. You must contact your advisor to drop a class after formal registration. ALL seminars have a first class meeting during the first week of the term (May 26 – 30). These are required meetings. If you cannot attend the first meeting, you must make special arrangements with the teacher of the seminar.
