Doane College is hosting a December graduation ceremony for graduate students in the Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Arts in Management, and Master of Education programs.
The ceremony is Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 1:00. It will be held on the Crete campus in our new Haddix Recreational and Athletic Center.
GUESTS
You may bring as many guests as you wish. The Haddix Recreational and Athletic center seats 1200. Please advise your guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony or earlier. Early arrival assures a better chance for a good parking place and the best seat for the ceremony. Haddix Recreational and Athletic Center is handicap accessible, and special seating will be offered for those in wheelchairs.
PARKING
There are over 900 parking spots on campus. Parking is available throughout campus, but is most convenient in front of the Haddix Recreation and Athletic Center, in the adjacent lot to the south (the Den) and in front of the Fuhrer Field House (#5 on the map).
WEATHER
Planning an event in December, in Nebraska, is difficult knowing there is the potential of snow. If the weather is severe, and roads are impassable, a decision about postponing the ceremony will be made by 7am Sunday morning and will be posted on the Doane College website home page .
PICTURES
The Picture Man will be taking individual photographs of graduates during the ceremony. These photographs will be available for purchase via the mail. Family and friends are welcome to leave their seats to take photos and video at the front of the stage; however, please do not interfere with the professional photographer or videographer.
To contact The Picture Man, please call 402.467.2577 or e-mail bobthepictureman@aol.com.

CAPS and GOWNS
Master of Arts in Counseling and Master of Arts in Management graduates pay a $50 graduation fee to Doane. Gowns can be picked up at the graduates home campus location - Lincoln or Grand Island.
