Dear Members of the Doane Community,
Since the announcement of the strategic planning process last November, we have appointed a Planning Stewardship Team, completed a community kick-off event with Faculty and Staff, and have surveyed and conducted focus groups with Students, Alumni, the Board of Trustees, and members of the local community.
At the outset, we committed to transparency as one of the key tenets to the process. With this in mind, I am pleased to share with you the first results of your efforts. The Planning Stewardship Team is starting to assimilate the information you have provided and will be engaging many of you in an ongoing effort to continue the analysis and planning related to specific topics. To keep you informed throughout the process, we will regularly post information to this site as it becomes available. At the end of the planning process, the Planning Stewardship Team will present to us its recommendations (in the form of a plan), which we can then submit to the Board of Trustees for final review and approval.
Thank you for your participation in the initial planning that has been completed to date. Through our collective efforts, we are well on our way to completing the roadmap for the future of Doane College.
