Students or individuals who are participating in photography shoots and videos must complete and sign a release form.
Photo Requests
The office has photographers on the team and excellent work study photographers. Please e-mail your request to ocm@doane.edu, at least two weeks prior to the event. For simple shots (such as a group shot), the office will check out a digital camera.
Video Review
Videos created for public marketing purposes should be either produced or reviewed by Marketing prior to use and can be sent to ocm@doane.edu. Please do not finalize any videos until approval is obtained as you may be asked to make edits.
Video Production
Marketing will assist in the production of videos for Admission and Advancement purposes. For all other videos, we will provide full consultation support. Small hand-held video cameras are available for check out or we would be glad to help you connect with vendors. Please complete the Event Video Tape Request form and send to the Marketing Office.
Videotaping Requests
Marketing will make every effort to assist in videotaping events for recruiting, marketing or advancement purposes.
Please contact the Marketing Technology Director at ocm@doane.edu with information. Requirements for event videos:
- We require at least 2 weeks notice prior to the event.
- You must get written approval from the individual or company representative to videotape and post their presentation. Many times this is taken care of in the contract phase.

For videos primarily for academic purposes to post to the Doane itunesu site, please contact the helpdesk (helpdesk@doane.edu) for assistance.
