Resources to Help you Find Careers Related to Your Interests

  • The Career Interests Game: A free interest inventory that will provide careers to further explore.
  • Kingdomality: This is a fun interest inventory that is set in the days of the Knights of the Roundtable, but provides information on current careers.
  • The Princeton Review offers a 24 question inventory that looks at your personal interest and usual style in order to offer possible careers. 
  • The Career Key: A good interest inventory: a fee of $7.95 is charged for the test.
  • Keirsey Temperament Sorter II: Similar to the MBTI; provides information on your temperament to relate to careers. There is a charge to obtain information.
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook: This handbook is updated every two years by the U.S. Department of Labor and has detailed information on more than 250 careers.
  • The O*NET System: Provides information about occupations and skills required for careers you are exploring.
  • Vault Library has on-line information about careers, job search and other career exploration. To access Vault Library you must first retrieve a password. To do so enter email address on the receive password screen, your password will then be emailed to your Doane Email.
