Describe Doane in 5 words or less.
Dedicated to developing tomorrow's leaders.
What is on your iPod right now?
A Capella music, 80's rock, and Doane vocal groups (Doane Choir, Doublewide, and Downpour.)
If you could be a superhero who would you be?
Wolverine. Who wouldn't want to have indestructible, retractable claws, and his ability to heal?
Hobbies?
College football (Go Tigers!!), NFL football (Go Cowboys!!), singing and being a dad.
Would you rather be a bird or a fish and why?
Definitely a fish. I grew up in Alma, NE, which is next to the Harlan County Lake. I have been around water for as long as I can remember. I love the beach, boating, tubing down the river, swimming, or just listening to waves as they hit the shore. ...and I don't like to fly.
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
Both of the arm rests are mine.
What makes Doane unique?
It truly is the people at Doane (students, faculty, and staff) that make this college unique. They create an environment that is welcoming, fun, and challenging. I invite you to visit campus to experience it! ...and I'm pretty sure that no other college has a caboose and a boat anchor on campus.

Friendly, beautiful, home.
What is on your iPod right now?
Don't Stop Believing by Journey!
If you could be a superhero who would you be?
Elastigirl. Who wouldn't want to be in more than one room at a time and save her family from evil?
Hobbies?
Eating, singing, dancing, sleeping, Facebooking, swimming, movie watching, hanging with friends, playing games and sports, eating again, walking, and probably more sleeping.
Would you rather be a bird or a fish and why?
Bird. I want to be able to fly and travel anywhere.
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
Both. I sit with my hands crossed and elbows on the armrests.
What makes Doane unique?
We have swans! Our campus is so beautiful with trees, lakes, and animals. Nothing beats having a room with a lakeside view!

If you could be a superhero who would you be?
Wonder Woman
Hobbies?
Golf, camping, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Would you rather be a bird or a fish and why?
Bird - It would be really cool to fly. It would also cut down on my drive time from Denver to campus!
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
Both!
What makes Doane unique?
Students, alumni, faculty and staff all make up a wonderful community at Doane. We are proud of what we represent and what we have to offer!

Describe Doane in 5 words or less.
Leadership, inquiry, values, engagement.
What is on your iPod right now?
A Mountain Dew can is sitting on it, is that bad? I thought I downloaded an app that made it a coaster, but since then it's "bricked."
If you could be a superhero who would you be?
I would say Mighty Mouse, but my wife HATES mice. Superman, doesn't he have x-ray vision? Plus I bet he could be a dominant closer with his fastball!
Hobbies?
Coaching baseball, watching the Red Sox, golf, hanging out with "my girls" (wife and daughter.)
Would you rather be a bird or a fish and why?
That's easy, a bird. I've always wanted to be able to fly and not have to pay for it. Plus, my wife hates fish.
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
Just the ones on each side of my seat unless, of course, my wife wants to use one.
What makes Doane unique?
A collective desire to become great! Whether it's our great coaches, the motivated students, engaging professors or Merlin, who greets you in the cafeteria, the interactions you have with them bring about an encouragement to excel in and out of the classroom.

Solid foundation for your education.
What is on your iPod right now?
An almost endless list of apps that make me very unproductive. I don't even want to know the amount of time I have spent playing Angry Birds. Other than that you will find some christian rock and a little country music.
If you could be a superhero who would you be?
Mr. Incredible. I am kind of a family guy and I think it would be cool to have a family full of superheroes.
Hobbies?
My favorite hobby is spending time with my wife and 3 kids. I love to be a dad and find new ways to have fun with the family. I also love to play golf whenever I get a chance. Golf is a great way to spend time with friends and family.
Would you rather be a bird or a fish and why?
Bird. I love the water, but I would love to fly. This choice assumes that by being a bird I would no longer be afraid of heights?
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
I will jockey for them both!
What makes Doane unique?
I really feel that Doane is a place that strives to be better every day. The willingness to keep moving forward by the faculty, staff & students is fun to be a part of.

Would you rather be a bird or a fish?
Easy - a fish. Birds kind of creep me out!
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
Both! (I don't like to share.)
