"New generations of alumni provide the continuity that perpetuates a university. Its officers come and go, its faculty change, its programs and buildings are replaced, but its alumni maintain a lifelong relationship with the University. They are keepers of the tradition, preferred stockholders of enterprise, and the mark of the accomplishment."
-H.T. Herald of the Ford Foundation, 1960.
As ambassadors of Doane College who exemplify our commitment to graduating leaders in all walks of life, you are an integral part of the Doane community.
The memories you made a Doane will last a lifetime. The Alumni Office will continue to provide opportunities to create new ones by:
- Organizing regular reunions and other alumni events throughout the U.S. and Japan.
- Publishing and mailing the Doane magazine three times a year, as well as a class letter each year.
- Establishing alumni chapters in selected locations that currently include Lincoln, Denver, and Japan.
- Helping to create an online network of alumni that may serve as a professional and personal resource for alumni as well as students for informational interviews, internships, career development, etc.
We invite you to sign up for the Doane College Alumni Network and use this and the other services provided in this section of our Web site, in order to remain actively involved with the Doane community.
