An examination of fascism as an ideology whichydominated the political and cultural life ofyEurope in the first half of the century. Readingsyin various disciplines, such as economics,ysociology, education, art, psychology, philosophy,yreligion, and music, augment the investigation ofythis totalitarian ideology. The legacy of fascismyin current political developments, both in Europeyand in other areas of the world, are alsoyexamined.
